Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, perform imaging studies, and assist with CT-guided procedures. You will engage with radiologists, nurses and techs to deliver safe, high-quality imaging for trauma, stroke and cancer patients.

The role requires ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, BLS certification, and CT credential within a year. Night shifts (5x12 hours) and a sign-on bonus for external applicants are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination.
• Work with CT team and other care staff under supervision as needed.
