Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRTR (Radiography) certification and ARRT CT certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and acquire quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA dose levels.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures and postcare using AIDET; reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflow and support department operations and compliance.
