Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRTR (Radiography), ARRT CT, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining ALARA dose levels.
• Clean and disinfect rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol using proper venipuncture techniques.
• Document timely in RIS/PACS and manage study finalization.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Maintain workflow and assist with department operations and compliance.
