Wellstar Medical Group operates a New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA, seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will work on a mobile CT unit, performing CT procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and postcare using AIDET; ease patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture where applicable.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers/shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed.
• Document timely and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock crash cart as required.
• Organize daily workflow to meet timeframes; support department flow.
• Maintain orderly, compliant areas and assist with charging/clerical tasks.
