Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group operates a New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA, seeking a CT Technologist. You will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality studies while supporting a mobile unit team.

The role requires ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT), BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience. A competitive hourly pay with shift incentives and full-time schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year Radiology experience.
• ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and optimize image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies.
• Support daily workflow and department operations.
