Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in a bustling radiology department.

You will perform CT exams, ensure patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with a team of technologists. The role requires ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with commitment to ALARA and accurate documentation.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Mansioni

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Position patients and apply markers/shielding as indicated; administer contrast per protocol.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document accordingly; finalize in RIS/PACS.
