Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety, and work within a collaborative radiology team at Cobb Hospital.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive Wellstar system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely with ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms; report equipment issues promptly.
• Verify orders and two patient identifiers; explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding; administer contrast as protocol.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and finalize exams.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with life-support readiness.
• Support department workflow and regulatory compliance.
