Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the radiology team to maintain workflow efficiency.

The role requires ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT) and at least 1 year in Radiology, with a focus on patient comfort, infection control, and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrieval as needed.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; minimize patient anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life‑support equipment as required.
• Maintain clean, organized rooms and report equipment issues promptly.
