Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures with a focus on safety and diagnostic quality. You will operate CT equipment, protect patients using ALARA principles, and collaborate within a team to deliver patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to infection control, and clear communication with patients and staff to ensure a smooth imaging workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification required; ARRT-CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required; maintained through AHA.
• Relocation/Sign-on may be eligible per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines to obtain diagnostic quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and independently, maintaining ALARA standards.
• Maintain infection control, clean and prep rooms per schedule.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
