Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high‑quality CT imaging and provide supportive patient care. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and clear communication within a collaborative radiology team.

The CT Technologist will operate imaging equipment, verify patient identities, and ensure studies are correctly finalized in RIS/PACS. A commitment to ALARA principles and patient comfort is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience is required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Prepare and assist patients; explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
• Review and finalize images in RIS/PACS; document properly.
• Maintain room and equipment cleanliness; restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout exams.
