Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Perform contrast-enhanced exams using proper venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers/shields as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document results timely.
• Coordinate with team to maintain workflow and assist with equipment checks.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
