Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Technologists are integral to a collaborative care team and are valued for their expertise and patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes performing CT procedures, maintaining ALARA standards, and ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety while contributing to efficient department workflow.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT - ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
