Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification upon hire is required or preferred.
• BLS certification within 60 days is required.
• Active state license as applicable upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment to produce high quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for examination.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and anatomical coverage.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety.
• Complete studies within department time expectations.
• Educate patients and ensure comfort during exams.
• Coordinate care and communicate with care teams.
• Keep up with CT technology and ongoing training.
• Instruct students and junior staff on protocols.
