Qualifikationen

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) required at hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire required.
• IV competency within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with CT imaging and related information systems.

Aufgaben

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure quality images.
• Verify patient identification and prepare the patient for the exam.
• Perform exams according to department protocol.
• Review images for quality and ensure proper anatomy is captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within expected timeframes without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT technology and participate in education.
