Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current Utah radiologic licensure.
• ARRT Radiography certification and CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy/physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams; transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust as needed for diagnostic images.
• Clean, calibrate, maintain equipment; report issues.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and condition.
• Support department operations, inventory, qualityimprovement, and clean spaces.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Follow documentation, consents, medical necessity, and coding policies.
• Pursue ongoing learning and new CT procedures.
• Complete documentation with time stamps and image storage.
