Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Training (CT) at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. This role offers a structured pathway to advance into CT with hands-on experience in a high-acuity imaging environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced CT professionals while developing the skills needed to become a registered CT Technologist, with a clear progression as you meet criteria for the specialty role.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust imaging to ensure diagnostic-quality results.
• Maintain equipment via cleaning, calibration, and reporting concerns.
