Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Disinfect and maintain patient areas and equipment.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures with patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast as per protocol using proper technique.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete final documentation in RIS/PACS.
