Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT exams per department guidelines, ensuring safety and comfort.

This full-time role includes a Friday–Sunday 7:00am–7:30pm schedule, sign-on bonus eligibility, relocation assistance, PTO and education opportunities through CareerCare.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, using ALARA to minimize dose.
• Clean and disinfect rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and release patients.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock equipment.
• Organize daily workflow and support department flow.
• Support operations, keep areas orderly, handle charging/clerical tasks, follow regulatory requirements.
