Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety, and participate in a team that values compassion and excellence.

You will work in a full-time role with a 7:00am–7:30pm weekend schedule, leveraging your radiology expertise and ABR-ARRT credentials. Relocation and sign-on opportunities may be available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality.
• Work independently operating imaging/radiographic equipment safely while maintaining ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using sterile technique.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document finalization in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows and support department flow; comply with regulatory requirements.
