Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain ALARA standards, manage contrast, ensure safety, and document in RIS/PACS while collaborating with the radiology team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining ALARA and adjusting techniques as needed.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers; explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety with age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast using sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients, apply markers/shielding, and document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with department flow.
