Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will perform CT exams, adhere to ALARA, and support patient safety and comfort in a busy clinical setting.

Requirements include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with at least 1 year in Radiology. The role offers a full-time schedule and benefits, with sign-on bonus eligibility and relocation support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles to minimize patient dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and prepare rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
