Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and patient care. You will perform CT exams, ensure safety and comfort, and maintain infection control while using RIS/PACS for study finalization.

The role requires ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience, with a Sunday-Friday shift pattern and opportunities for sign-on and relocation support.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique as applicable.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat/correct and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
