Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. The role requires ARRT credentials, CT certification, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

Certified radiologic technologist with ARRT credentials.
Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
Strong patient communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and optimize image quality.
Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
Verify patient identity, orders, and clinical history prior to exams.
Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
Administer contrast per protocol and perform venipuncture when needed.
Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
Review images for diagnostic quality and complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.
Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock and organize equipment as required.
