Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high quality imaging with a patient-centered approach. The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certifications, with at least 1 year of radiology experience.

You will operate imaging equipment, ensure ALARA dose, and support patient safety throughout the exam.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Disinfect rooms/equipment and report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and two patient identifiers; explain procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during the visit.
• Perform exams with contrast per protocol using sterile technique when applicable.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies.
