Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform and optimize CT procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient-focused care.

You will work within a collaborative radiology team, following ALARA guidelines, screening patients, preparing contrast, and documenting studies accurately in RIS/PACS. A strong radiology background and ARRT CT certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and ALARA principles.
• Prepare and clean rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures to patients and reduce anxiety using clear communication.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during visits.
• Administer contrast and manage venipuncture when needed.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers and shielding as required.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document findings in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
