Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver a safe, high-quality patient experience. You will work within a collaborative radiology team, ensuring ALARA principles, image quality, and accurate documentation.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure high-quality images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and optimize dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect, clean, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify two patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and contrast administration with venipuncture when needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)

BLS (Basic Life Support)
