Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA, is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and a patient-centered experience. You will work as part of a collaborative radiology team to ensure accurate scanning and safe care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA.
• Disinfect, clean, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol; venipuncture when needed.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and re-shoot if needed.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies/life-support as required.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
