Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and optimize dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and screen for contraindications; use two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers.
• Organize daily workflows to support department flow and regulatory compliance.
