Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure image quality, and uphold patient safety. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, applying ALARA principles, and coordinating with the care team.

The position requires an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT certifications, plus BLS; at least 1 year of radiology experience is preferred. Join a supportive team at Wellstar’s Roswell facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Disinfect, clean and prepare rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol and use sterile technique when needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and notify radiologist if needed.
• Document studies accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies and crash cart readiness.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
