Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain ALARA principles to protect patients and staff.

The role requires at least 1 year of radiology experience, an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications. Join Wellstar to support patient care and imaging excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain image quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection-control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture technique.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
