Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, and ensure patient safety and exam quality. Qualifications

• ARRT CT (R) certification required at hire
• BLS certification within 90 days required
• Minimum 3 years CT technologist experience in hospital setting desired

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and prep
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
• Complete studies within time expectations
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Coordinate care with other providers
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff
