Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT imaging and collaborate with Radiology staff. The role requires ARRT in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and an ARRT CT registry within one year of hire, plus BLS.

Strong patient interaction and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The position is full-time in the Navicent Health Medical Center CT department, with a 36-hour workweek and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB-certified program.
• ARRT radiology certification and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and verify orders; refer to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify patients, explain procedures and prepare them for scans.
• Review EMRs to obtain clinical history and document on requisitions.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and operate radiology computer systems.
