Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, GA, is seeking a CT radiology tech to perform CT scans, prepare patients, and ensure imaging quality. Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and advanced CT registries required within 1 year.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers to Radiologist when needed.
• Identify patients and prepare them with explanations of procedures.
• Review EMR for history and correlate results with exam.
• Take responsibility for the exam from start to dictated results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast administration.
• Assist other medical personnel during CT-related exams.
