The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon 10-hour shifts and a weekend differential of $11.00. ARRT/NMTCB credentials and BLS are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine is required, with ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders, referring questions to Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identifies patients and prepares them with explanations; documents procedures.
• Interviews patients for medical history; reviews EMR to obtain pertinent history and correlates results.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during procedures; follows sterile and safety protocols.
• Operates radiology computer systems, enters orders and reports contrast administration.
• Rotates shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends; adheres to attendance policies.
