Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within one year of hire. The role is 36 hours per week, with 3x12s shifts, weekends and premium pay where applicable.

Responsibilities include CT scanning, patient prep and history documentation, collaboration with radiologists, and strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control. BLS is required; on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist and clarify discrepancies before exams.
• Identify patients and prepare for procedures with explanations.
• Interview patients for history and document EMR data related to exams.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique; monitor equipment.
• Rotate shifts including weekends; participate in on-call as required.
• Operate radiology information systems; document contrast administration.
