Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist CT at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC to perform CT scans, assess image quality, and administer IV contrast as directed. Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine acceptable.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders, refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review EMRs for medical history and correlate test results with exams.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues promptly.
