Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. The role requires ARRT certification with CT registry within one year of hire and BLS clearance.

The position includes a sign-on bonus and relocation support, with weekend days and weekend premium pay as part of the schedule. Responsibilities include exam setup, patient prep, history reviews, CT scanning under Radiologist guidance, IV contrast handling, and strict adherence to radiation

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Examines requests and verifies orders prior to performing exams.
Identifies patients and prepares them for procedures with explanations.
Interviews patients to collect medical history and reviews EMRs for pertinent information.
Operates radiology systems and CT equipment under Radiologist supervision.
Administers IV contrast per department protocols and documents administration.
Maintains safety and infection control standards; prepares for emergencies and code blue scenarios.
Rotates shifts and participates in weekend coverage as required.
