Advocate Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare patients, and ensure quality imaging under Radiologist supervision. The role requires ARRT Radiology certification with CT registry within one year of hire and BLS.

Responsibilities include contrast administration, EMR review, and radiation safety compliance. The position is full-time with weekend rotation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient; refers questions to Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identifies patients with two identifiers and offers a brief explanation of procedures.
• Interviews patients for complete medical history and reviews EMR for pertinent history.
• Assumes responsibility for the exam from start to dictated results.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast per department protocol and records contrast type/amount.
• Operates radiology computer systems to enter orders and document contrast administration.
