Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine is required.
• ARRT CT registry within one year of hire is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer questions to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; assist during CT exams.
• Review patient EMRs for pertinent history and document accordingly.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol; document contrast usage.
