Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans with opportunities to cross-train in MRI. The role includes verifying orders, preparing patients, and assisting Radiologists in procedures.

Required ARRT radiology or NMTCB certification and CT registry within one year. BLS is required. The position offers full-time hours, benefits, and a schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders for each patient.
• Perform CT exams and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Prepare patients with clear explanations and obtain medical history.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Rotate shifts including on-call, holidays, and weekends.
