Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT technologist for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position in Georgia. The role requires ARRT radiology certification with CT registry within one year of hire, and BLS certification. You will perform CT scans, manage patient care, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Expect to work Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon with 10-hour shifts and a weekend differential. Pay range is $33.05–$49.60 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology certification required; CT registry preferred.
• NMTCB nuclear medicine certification also acceptable.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and refer questions to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients, explain procedures, and document prep on worksheets.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs for pertinent data.
• Lead exam from start to finish and dictate results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol; record usage.
• Evaluate image quality and consult Radiologist as needed.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices.
• Operate radiology computer system; document contrast in MAR.
• Rotates shifts, participates in on-call, holidays, weekends.
• Notify nursing staff of patient changes and assist in emergencies.
