Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a CT Technologist to support imaging across facilities. The role requires at least 2 years of hospital CT experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS.

The CT Technologist will perform CT exams, screen for contraindications, and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure. Responsibilities include IV access, contrast administration, RIS/PACS documentation, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 2 years of hospital experience as a Radiologic Technologist with CT imaging experience.
  • Active ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams following physician orders, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and screen for contraindications.
  • Explain procedures with empathy using AIDET and communicate with patients and families.
  • Prepare and position patients, assist with mobility, and ensure safe transfers.
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT scanners and injectors safely, confirming scan parameters.
  • Optimize imaging techniques to maximize diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and collaborate with radiologists.
  • Accurately document procedures, manage RIS and PACS entries, and perform QC checks.
  • Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
