Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a CT Technologist to support a Diagnostic Float Team across multiple facilities in Georgia. You will perform high-quality CT exams, ensure patient safety, and provide compassionate care following AIDET principles.

Role requires a minimum of 2 years hospital CT experience, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications, with a flexible 8–12 hour shift pattern and relocation assistance possible.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist experience, including CT.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain medical history, and screen for contraindications.
  • Communicate procedures clearly with empathy, using AIDET principles.
  • Prepare, position, and assist patients with mobility and immobilization.
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT equipment and injectors safely, ensuring proper scan parameters.
  • Optimize imaging techniques to reduce radiation exposure and recognize urgent findings.
  • Accurately document procedures, manage RIS/PACS entries, and perform quality checks.
  • Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards.

Role Overview:

The CT Technologist supports multiple imaging services across various facilities, performing high-quality CT exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position is part of a Diagnostic Float Team, providing flexible coverage and utilizing advanced skills to deliver diagnostic images efficiently.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders, protocols, and safety standards.

  • Verify patient identity, obtain medical history, and screen for contraindications.
