Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, verify patient information, explain procedures, prepare patients, and operate CT scanners safely across multiple facilities. You will follow physician orders and safety standards while delivering compassionate care.

You will document procedures in RIS/PACS, assist with positioning, administer contrast as needed, monitor for adverse reactions, and help maintain equipment hygiene and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital-based radiologic technologist and CT experience.
  • ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans following physician orders, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Verify patient identity, gather relevant history, and screen for contraindications.
  • Communicate procedures clearly using AIDET principles.
  • Assist with patient positioning, mobility, and safety measures.
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Operate imaging equipment, optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and involve physicians as needed.
  • Accurately document procedures and manage RIS and PACS entries.
  • Maintain equipment hygiene and adhere to regulatory standards.

Role Overview

The CT Technologist supports a variety of imaging services across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. This position involves performing CT exams, verifying patient information, explaining procedures, preparing patients, and operating CT scanners safely.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform CT scans following physician orders, protocols, and safety standards.
