Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based radiologic technologist experience, including CT.
• AR R T-CT, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications are required.

Role Overview: The CT Technologist supports multiple imaging locations within the organization, delivering high-quality, safe CT scans while ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves applying expertise across facilities, performing procedures according to protocols, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams based on physician orders, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Verify patient identity, gather relevant history, and screen for contraindications.
• Communicate procedures empathetically, explaining steps clearly using AIDET.
• Prepare, position, and assist patients with mobility and immobilization as needed.
• Establish IV access, administer contrast media safely, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT equipment and injectors properly, ensuring accurate imaging.
• Optimize imaging techniques to reduce radiation exposure while maintaining diagnostic quality.
• Evaluate images, identify urgent findings, and collaborate with radiologists/physicians.
• Accurately document all procedures, manage RIS and PACS entries, and perform quality control checks.
• Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based radiologic technologist experience, including CT.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
