Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and assist licensed practitioners with interventional work. You will ensure patient safety and adhere to ALARA principles.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient information, preparing exams, acquiring quality images, and documenting activities. ARRT or NMTCB certification is required on hire; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform or assist with CT procedures and medication administration.

Job description

Role Overview: A CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures, administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, document activities accurately.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
• Assist with and perform computed tomography procedures under licensed practitioner supervision.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform or assist with CT procedures and medication administration.
