Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC in Danville, PA seeks a CT Tech I to perform diagnostic CT and molecular imaging, with a potential promotion to CT Tech II based on skills and experience.

The role requires ALARA adherence, data acquisition and analysis for diagnosis, image evaluation, patient prep, and protocol optimization to ensure safety and quality. Mentoring students and staff is included.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles (ALARA).
• Proficiency in imaging protocols and techniques.
• Ability to evaluate image quality and accuracy.
• Experience with interventional procedures is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities: Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes; perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures; acquire and analyze data for diagnosis and intervention; prepare and administer medications and radiation exposure per regulations; ensure patient identification, proper preparation, and documentation; optimize imaging protocols for safety and quality; evaluate images for correctness; assist with interventional procedures; educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
