Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes and perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures. You will acquire, analyze, and verify data for diagnosis and assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification upon hire, with new graduates needing certification prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Completion of radiologic technology training; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow protocols, and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient identification, proper preparation, and confidentiality adherence.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per policies.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist in interventional procedures and perform CT scans as prescribed.
