Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Philadelphia seeks a CT Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, interventional imaging, and research support, ensuring high-quality CT and molecular imaging data.

You will prepare patients, follow ALARA principles, assist with interventional procedures, educate staff, and maintain documentation in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Ability to perform or assist with CT procedures, evaluate images, and handle medications responsibly.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology training program; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient order, ensure proper identification and preparation, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to maximize patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage and transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist licensed practitioners in interventional procedures.
• Perform CT procedures as prescribed, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
