Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research CT imaging with emphasis on patient safety and accuracy.

The role supports licensed practitioners in CT exams and interventional procedures, ensuring proper medication documentation and radiation exposure in compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT or NMTCB certified (ARRT-CT) upon hire.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program; BS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles for safety.
• Evaluate image quality and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures and perform prescribed scans accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.

Job description

Responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging, while ensuring patient safety and accuracy.
Independently or collaboratively assist licensed practitioners in completing CT exams and interventional procedures.
Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure in compliance with laws and institutional policies.

Qualifications & Skills
